SandyDental & Surgical Assistant - Collegeville
Sandy entered the dental field right out of high school. She started out at the front desk in reception but then developed an interest in the clinical aspects of dentistry. She trained chairside as a dental assistant and obtained her X-ray certification. After many years of working in general dentistry, Sandy had the opportunity to come and work with Dr. DiGiallorenzo at his periodontal office. She worked with him for five years and learned so much about periodontal and implant dentistry. During that time, she also trained to become a certified phlebotomist.
Sandy left Dr. DiGiallorenzo’s practice for a few years to return to general dentistry but realized that periodontal and implant surgery assisting was really her true passion. After returning to work here, she is thrilled to be back doing what she loves. As a trained surgical assistant, she has a passion for helping others and is dedicated to the well-being of the patients under her care.
