Her favorite thing about working for Dr. DiGiallorenzo is the opportunity to meet new people. She enjoys knowing that she plays a part in helping patients make great dental decisions. She is compassionate and understanding when it comes to patient needs and is also very organized and reliable.
Karen has been married for more than seven years and has a young son who is just starting preschool in the fall. She thinks spending time with family and friends is the most important thing she can do.
Angie brings more than 14 years’ experience in office management and billing management to our practice. As Director of Patient Relations, Angie is the first point of contact for both new and existing patients.
“I enjoy helping our patients on their journey to achieving healthy gums, a beautiful smile, better health, and overcoming their dental fears from previous bad experiences. I love seeing these same patients return with smiles. We have a very dynamic team that works hard to ensure every patient receives exceptional care.”
In her spare time, Angie is an avid reader, plays tennis, and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She’s looking forward to traveling again once her sons get a little older.

Allison graduated with honors, receiving an associate’s degree in dental hygiene from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2006. She’s been working in both periodontics and general dentistry since that time.
Starting at the age of 14, Allison worked as an assistant to the hygienists for A. David Parks DMD, Periodontist (her dad). During her high school years, she trained to be a periodontal surgical assistant, and finally she trained to fulfill the position of office manager.
Allison is dedicated to providing a high standard of care for the patients she treats, and she enjoys personal patient interaction as well. She truly cares about each individual patient while simultaneously providing quality hygiene care in a structured and organized manner. Her goals are to make every patient feel comfortable and at ease during treatment, to educate each patient about the state of his or her mouth, and to make appropriate treatment recommendations addressing each patient’s particular needs.
What Allison finds exciting and unique about Dr. David DiGiallorenzo’s office is the variety of treatment options he has in his arsenal to achieve optimum oral health for his patients. Not only does he address pressing oral issues, he also looks at the body as a whole and how the oral situation affects it. Offering the latest in periodontal treatments, Dr. DiGiallorenzo’s office provides a wonderful opportunity for both clinicians and patients.

Sandy entered the dental field right out of high school. She started out at the front desk in reception but then developed an interest in the clinical aspects of dentistry. She trained chairside as a dental assistant and obtained her X-ray certification. After many years of working in general dentistry, Sandy had the opportunity to come and work with Dr. DiGiallorenzo at his periodontal office. She worked with him for five years and learned so much about periodontal and implant dentistry. During that time, she also trained to become a certified phlebotomist.
Sandy left Dr. DiGiallorenzo’s practice for a few years to return to general dentistry but realized that periodontal and implant surgery assisting was really her true passion. Sandy recently had the opportunity to return to work with Dr. DiGiallorenzo and his staff. She is so thrilled to be back doing what she loves. As a trained surgical assistant, she has a passion for helping others and is dedicated to the well-being of the patients under her care.
When not at work, Sandy spends time with her husband, three grown children, and friends, and she loves to travel.
“I can’t imagine a better opportunity to learn the dental business than to be completely immersed in all aspects of the practice while covering my co-workers’ maternity leave. I’ve been impressed with the staff’s patience in training me, and I see the special care everyone takes of the patients. From the initial consultation, I’ve watched the staff shepherd patients through their treatment plan decision-making, scheduling, and the treatment process itself with such compassion and attention to detail. I’ve also found the practice’s whole-person approach to treatment refreshing. It’s clear to me that treatment isn’t just about repairing gums and smiles, it’s about whole body and soul wellness. I’m delighted to be part of the team.”
