Real News About Full-Mouth Reconstruction [BLOG]

Restorative Dentistry

Things are pretty heated today, and we don’t just mean the hot July weather. With all the talk about fake news and alternative facts in world of politics lately, it can sometimes be hard to tell the difference between truth and fiction.

So today, we’re bringing you facts you can actually rely on! Our team at the LANAP & Implant Center want to give you the real news about a full-mouth reconstruction and how it can transform your life.

When it comes to your oral and overall health, it’s so important for you to be able to make informed decisions. We’re taking a look at what’s involved in a full-mouth reconstruction to empower you to take the next best step for your beautiful, healthy, restored smile.

What Are The Problems With Your Smile?

Some problems with your smile could easily be corrected with restorative, or even cosmetic, dentistry. But other dental problems might require more complicated, extensive treatment. Regardless, you deserve a healthy, beautiful smile… a smile that allows you to eat and speak with confidence. A smile that helps you get the most out of life.

So what are some of the issues that might stand in the way of that?

Missing one tooth or several teeth is certainly going to keep you on the sidelines of life. It’s extremely taxing on your emotional and psychological wellness. It affects your social, professional, and even your romantic life.

In addition to the toll it takes on you mentally, missing teeth for a period of time will inevitably wreak havoc on your oral and overall health as well. This is a dental problem that can essentially affect every part of your life.

You also might have damaged teeth, which can mean teeth that are chipped, broken, cracked because of an accident or some kind of oral injury. You could have teeth that have become loose due to advanced periodontal disease or even cavities and decay that’ve been left untreated.

Some dental problems you might have involve surface stains or small gaps between your teeth that make you feel embarrassed to smile. When the problems with your smile cause you to feel self-conscious, affect your ability to eat and enjoy certain foods, or when they threaten your health, you could potentially benefit from a full-mouth reconstruction in a profound way.

Why Would You Need A Full-Mouth Reconstruction?

If your smile is plagued by some of the problems we just mentioned, it’s important that you get the dental care you need. When you avoid getting treatment for these types of issues, you could be putting yourself at further risk.

At the LANAP & Implant Center, we care about you and want to help you achieve total health. That’s one of the reasons our team has been a global leader in the integration of a total wellness approach to dental care.

Dr. DiGiallorenzo and our specialists have experience, specialized training, and advanced technology to help get your oral health back on track when serious dental problems have taken hold of it.

So if you’ve been suffering from advanced periodontal disease, for example, and maybe you’ve lost teeth because of it, we can not only stop its progression, but we want to send it into reverse. If gum disease has gone untreated, you lose gum tissue, you lose teeth, and eventually, you lose teeth.

The effects will simply continue, and they will worsen without the intervention you need. We are the experts you can count on to intervene for the sake of your health and your happiness. And a full-mouth reconstruction is one of the ways we can help.

What Does A Full-Mouth Reconstruction Involve?

A full-mouth reconstruction is a process that differs from one patient to the next. At the LANAP & Implant Center, we sit down to discuss your needs and goals, and then we work together to design a customized treatment plan that’s built around giving you the smile you’ll love.

We pride ourselves on the kind of exceptional treatment we’re able to offer you to help you achieve your best oral health and your most beautiful smile. It would take a pretty long blog to talk about every one of them! But here are just a few that you might find included in your full-mouth reconstruction in one of our two PA dental offices:

-LANAP Gum Disease Therapy

-Dental Implants

-Bone Grafting

-Soft-tissue Grafting
