Get The Most From Your Dental Visit [BLOG]

Preventative Orthodontics

As the summer winds down, it seems like overnight, we head toward a whirlwind of crisp, cool air, holidays, and time for reflection of another year gone by so quickly. It’s then that we all start to think of the highs and lows, our successes and failures, and the memories we’ve created in the last twelve months.

Your mind might also circle around those things you were able to accomplish and the goals you never got around to. This happens a lot when it comes to our health. You might tell yourself you’ll start exercising more, or you’ll stop smoking, or you’ll eat healthier.

You had the best intentions, but you kept getting sidetracked and time ran out on you. Our team at the LANAP & Implant Center wants to help you avoid that trap this year. Why not get a jump start on some of those health goals before the crazy holiday season begins and another year draws quickly to a close?

What makes us a trusted source to help you in that effort? After all, we’re just a team of dental professionals, right? Well, yes, but we’re actually so much more than that!

The LANAP & Implant Center is dedicated to your oral and overall health. That means we have a team of specialists highly-trained and experienced in all areas of wellness so we can approach your dental care from multiple angles.

You deserve to get the most out of your dental visits! Here are some ways we can help you in our Collegeville and Williamsport dental offices achieve better health and a higher quality of life.

Take Back Your Oral Health With Gum Disease Treatment

Gum disease is one of the biggest threats to oral health you face. It can have a devastating effect on your teeth, gums, smile, and your life overall. When infection takes hold of your mouth, there’s a very dangerous ripple effect of problems that ensue.

Gum disease is the leading cause of adult tooth loss, for example. But the problems continue from there, and they can affect your entire body. With our advanced laser technology, we can restore your gum health quickly, painlessly, and effectively.

Reclaim Your Smile With Dental Implants

Speaking of tooth loss, did you know that choosing not to replace even one lost tooth can start a chain reaction that threatens the health and stability of the rest of your teeth? That’s why it’s so important to replace missing teeth so you can maintain a healthy jawbone and preserve your smile.

Dental implants are the number one choice in modern tooth replacement. They can help restore the look and function of your teeth so you can eat, speak, and smile with confidence.

Get Better Rest With Sleep Apnea Treatment

If sleep apnea is keeping you from getting the rest you need to look, feel, and function at peak performance, then it’s time you did something about it. All the disruption to your sleep night after night can have lasting and dangerous health consequences. With help from our custom-fitted oral appliances or with a CPAP machine, you can keep those airways open for more restful nights and energetic days.

Improve Your Diet With Nutritional Therapy

If you thought brushing and flossing everyday was enough to keep your mouth healthy, think again! Sure, your daily oral hygiene is a critical piece of the puzzle, but it’s not enough on its own for healthy teeth and gums.

We’re not often taught much about the connection between nutrition and oral health outside of the lectures we received when we were kids about the dangers of eating too many sweets. But the fact is that nutrition plays an important role in helping you have strong teeth and healthy gums.

Take advantage of our nutritional therapy so you can put the best fuel in your body for optimum oral health and a beautiful smile!
