Benefits of Crown Lengthening Surgery in Collegeville and Williamsport, PA

At Lanap & Implant Center of Pennsylvania in Williamsport and Collegeville, Dr. DiGiallorenzo and Dr. Bui specialize in creating beautiful, healthy smiles for patients who have been unhappy with their teeth for years. One common problem reported by patients of various ages involves the visible shortness of their teeth when they smile. The amount of gum showing is disproportionate to their teeth, resulting in an unbalanced, “gummy” look that is typically undesirable. Fortunately, a procedure called crown lengthening can solve this problem, giving patients the aesthetically pleasing smile they’ve always wanted.

Achieve Form and Function with Crown Lengthening

An attractive, inviting smile is one that displays a uniform set of evenly spaced, healthy, white teeth. When too much pink gum tissue is visible, the natural harmony of the smile itself is thrown off balance. By removing excess tissue along the gum line and giving it smooth, even contours, Drs. DiGiallorenzo and Bui create a shapely smile with complimentary proportions of tooth and gum.

In addition to aiding immensely in the aesthetics department, crown lengthening surgery at Lanap & Implant Center of Pennsylvania can actually improve your oral hygiene and overall periodontal health.

Following your crown lengthening procedure, you’ll be given information about the recovery process to help you maximize your total benefit. Your doctors at the Center can offer a wealth of options to keep you comfortable before, during and after the surgery, including effective holistic care options like reflexology, nutritional therapy, acupuncture and massage therapy.

Drs. DiGiallorenzo and Bui proudly serve patients from throughout the Philadelphia area, offering treatment in both Williamsport and Collegeville. Contact us to find out how crown lengthening surgery can help you achieve superior functionality and beauty in your smile today.
